Terms of Service for RL Construction Group

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website located at www.rlconstructiongroup.com (the "Site"), operated by RL Construction Group ("RL Construction Group," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

These Terms govern your use of the Site only. They do not by themselves create any obligation for us to perform construction work. Any construction services are governed by a separate written proposal, estimate, or contract, as described in Section 2.

1. Use of the Site

You may use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

Use the Site in violation of any applicable law or regulation
Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any form or request
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to, interfere with, or disrupt the Site or its underlying systems
Introduce any virus, malware, or other harmful code
Use any automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access or collect data from the Site without our written permission
Copy, reproduce, republish, or distribute any content from the Site without our permission
Use the Site in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair it or interfere with others' use

We may suspend or restrict access to the Site, or to any user, at our discretion, without notice.

2. Quotes, Estimates, and Construction Services

The Site allows you to learn about our services and to request quotes, estimates, or a consultation. Submitting a request through the Site does not create a contract or obligate us to perform any work, and does not obligate you to purchase any service.

Any construction, renovation, repair, or related services we provide are governed by a separate written proposal, estimate, work order, or contract (a "Work Agreement") signed by you and RL Construction Group. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and a signed Work Agreement, the Work Agreement controls with respect to the services it covers, including scope, pricing, payment, schedule, warranties, change orders, and dispute resolution.

Any pricing, timelines, availability, or descriptions shown on the Site are for general information only, are not offers, and are subject to change and to inspection, site conditions, and a signed Work Agreement.

3. Site Content and Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, photographs, project images, designs, and the RL Construction Group name and marks — is owned by RL Construction Group or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to view and use the Site for your personal, non-commercial purpose of learning about and requesting our services. You may not use our name, logo, or content for any other purpose without our written permission.

4. Submissions and Communications

If you submit information through the Site — such as a quote request, referral, review, photo, or other material ("Submission") — you represent that you have the right to submit it and that it is accurate and does not violate any law or third-party right. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your Submission as needed to respond to your request, perform services, and operate our business. Do not submit confidential information you do not want us to use to respond to you.

Your use of the Site and any communications with us are also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your information, including cookies, advertising pixels, identity resolution technology, and — where you opt in — email, phone, and SMS/text communications. By using the Site, you acknowledge the Privacy Policy.

5. Third-Party Links and Services

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services that we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party site or service, and links do not imply our endorsement. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

6. Disclaimers

THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any information on the Site is complete, accurate, or current. Project photos and descriptions are illustrative and do not guarantee any particular result for your project.

This Section applies to your use of the Site. Warranties relating to actual construction services, if any, are set out in your signed Work Agreement, not on the Site.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RL CONSTRUCTION GROUP AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

This limitation applies to your use of the Site only. Liability arising from construction services is governed by your signed Work Agreement and applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RL Construction Group and its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Site, your Submissions, or your violation of these Terms or any applicable law.

9. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. Any dispute relating to construction services is governed by the dispute-resolution terms of your signed Work Agreement, if applicable.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Effective Date above and post the updated Terms on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. General

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any applicable Work Agreement, are the entire agreement between you and RL Construction Group regarding the Site. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them freely.
